Be ready and get your finest shoes, we are going to have a balboa blast! At one of the finest dance floor in Europe we will shuffle the heck out of Big Mama Swing Madrid’s ballroom. We have a pretty easy going schedule so no mornings or late afternoons and everything at the same venue, easier for everyone.

Tomas clases y vas a baile social regularmente. Conoces el vocabulario básico (up basic, down basic, outs and ins, throw out, come around, lollies y swivels) y quieres seguir trabajando en ello además de mejorar tu técnica y conexión.
Este pase incluye cuatro horas de clases (2h sábado y 2h domingo) y las cuatro fiestas (jueves, viernes, sábado y domingo).
You attend balboa classes and social dances regulary, you know the basics (up basic, down basic, outs and ins, throw out, come around, lollies y swivels) and want to keep working on those basics as well as improving your technique and conection.

Estás cómodo bailando socialmente, juegas con la música, haces combinaciones de pasos y variaciones que van más allá de los básicos y asistes con frecuencia a festivales con profesores internacionales.
Este pase incluye cuatro horas de clases (2h sábado y 2h domingo) y las cuatro fiestas (jueves, viernes, sábado y domingo).
Si quieres hacer la audición para el nivel de invitación, esta será el sábado de 16h a 17h, justo antes de las clases de nivel avanzado e invitational. El nivel más alto tendrá un máximo de 10 parejas que los profesores internacionales podrán seleccionar durante la audición.
Esta audición es exclusivamente para las personas que estén interesada en el nivel de invitación, si consideras que estás bien en el nivel avanzado no es necesario que hagas la audición y puedes tener un rato más de siesta para estar con toda la energía en la fiesta :)

If you think you belong in the highest level (invitational) then you need to do the audition which is on Saturday at 4pm to 5pm, right before the classes for the two advanced levels. The invitational level will have a maximum of ten couples chosen by the international teachers. They have the knowledge and experience to assess that so their desicion is final.
The audition is only if you would like to apply for the invitational level, if you are happy with the Advance level, then you can come straight to the class at 5pm wich will give you one more hour of siesta to get all the energy for the party that night :)

The Good Men Swingtet es tu billete para un viaje a la época dorada del swing. Son un little big band de apasionados que rinde homenaje al King of Swing, Benny Goodman y revive la música de sus contemporáneos de los años 30 y 40 como Artie Shaw, Count Basie, John Kirby, Fats Waller y Johnny Hodges, entres otros.David Herrington - trompeta / Charli Díaz - clarinete

The Sentimental Gentlemen
The Sentimental Gentlemen es una formación creada en Madrid en 2022 para tocar exclusivamente música Swing de los años 1930 y 1940 en el estilo de los conjuntos de la época (Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington y un largo etcétera de artistas). Su repertorio (más de 90 temas) está cuidadosamente seleccionado y arreglado para la comunidad de bailarines de Lindy Hop y Balboa, que disfrutarán de un directo lleno de energía, sutileza y, ante todo, toneladas de swing.MC & DJs
Mel Calanglang
Mel extiende su pasión por la música y el baile siendo DJ. Comenzó en su adolescencia con los vinilos pinchando música dance (hip-hop, house, EDM, pop, etc.) en discotecas, bodas y fiestas privadas en Canada. Luego de mudarse al Reino Unido, ahora dedica sus sets al Jazz, Soul y R&B. Se especializa en big bands de 1930-1960 pero también mezcla otros géneros para mantener la fiesta bien arriba.
