Be ready and get your finest shoes, we are going to have a balboa blast! At one of the finest dance floor in Europe we will shuffle the heck out of Big Mama Swing Madrid’s ballroom. We have a pretty easy going schedule so no mornings or late afternoons and everything at the same venue, easier for everyone.

The Good Men Swingtet

The Good Men Swingtet es tu billete para un viaje a la época dorada del swing. Son un little big band de apasionados que rinde homenaje al King of Swing, Benny Goodman y revive la música de sus contemporáneos de los años 30 y 40 como Artie Shaw, Count Basie, John Kirby, Fats Waller y Johnny Hodges, entres otros.

The Sentimental Gentlemen

The Sentimental Gentlemen es una formación creada en Madrid en 2022 para tocar exclusivamente música Swing de los años 1930 y 1940 en el estilo de los conjuntos de la época (Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington y un largo etcétera de artistas). Su repertorio (más de 90 temas) está cuidadosamente seleccionado y arreglado para la comunidad de bailarines de Lindy Hop y Balboa, que disfrutarán de un directo lleno de energía, sutileza y, ante todo, toneladas de swing.

Jessie Gordon’s Flow State

Jessie Gordon’s Flow State is a swing band inspired by the sounds of the 1930s and 1940s. On this occasion, they present a repertoire specially dedicated to slow bal, ideal for elegant, fluid, and deeply connected dancing. Led by the outstanding Australian singer Jessie Gordon, the voice–piano–double bass–drums lineup creates a warm and refined atmosphere, with classic jazz standards, brand new original swing tunes and the occasional ballad to keep you dancing into the early hours of the morning.

Jessie Gordon and the Unusual Suspects

Jessie Gordon and the Unusual Suspects is a swing band built for Balboa. Led by the irresistible vocals of Jessie Gordon, the band brings classic swing style with a fresh, playful edge. The rhythm section is Madrid royalty: Dani Garcia on drums provides swinging, buoyant time, Benjamin Mitte adds sparkle and push on piano, and Benjamin Groisman anchors the sound with a deep, driving double bass. Rounded out by trombone and vibraphone, the band’s sound is warm, rhythmic, and perfectly tuned for fast feet and happy dancers.

MC y DJ Mel Calanglang

Mel extiende su pasión por la música y el baile siendo DJ. Comenzó en su adolescencia con los vinilos pinchando música dance (hip-hop, house, EDM, pop, etc.) en discotecas, bodas y fiestas privadas en Canada. Luego de mudarse al Reino Unido, ahora dedica sus sets al Jazz, Soul y R&B. Se especializa en big bands de 1930-1960 pero también mezcla otros géneros para mantener la fiesta bien arriba.
